            <description>On Monday, October 10th, our RPVB City Committee meeting will be held at the Cavalier Hotel on the Oceanfront, located at 4201 Atlantic Ave., Virginia Beach.  In lieu of holding our regular business, we will be having a Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Rally with special guest speakers Rep. Scott Rigell, Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling, Republican Party of Virginia Chairman Pat Mullins, and 2nd District Chairman Gary Byler.

&lt;br /&gt;

Not only is the purpose of the rally to Get Out The Vote, but also to show our support for all of our Republican candidates.  Please join us, and invite your family members and friends so they can enjoy this special event.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling will speak on the topic of Virginia at Work

The Downtown Republican Club holds four quarterly luncheons a year with prominent speakers and supports Republican candidates for public office.  Dues are $125/year or $175 for couples. The cost of each luncheon is then $30 for members, $55 for non-members.

The historical Pleasant Hall, which sat very close to the Princess Anne Courthouse, was the site of the Victory Ball for the Battle of Great Bridge back in 1775.  
Since the 19th Amendment was added to the Constitution in August of 1920 (91 years ago), a dialogue of the suffragist Mrs. Robert Walker will be performed.

            <description>As Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia Beach (RPVB) of the Republican Party of Virginia, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Kenneth J. Longo, do hereby issue this call for a Republican Party of Virginia Beach Mass Meeting to be held at RPVB Headquarters located at 2955 Virginia Beach Blvd., Suite 105, Virginia Beach, VA 23452 beginning at 6:00 p.m. local time on Friday, July 1, 2011 for the purpose of electing delegates to the 6th Senate District Convention to be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., at Norfolk Masonic Temple No. 1, 7001 Granby St., Norfolk, Virginia.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
All legal and qualified registered voters of the 6th Senate District within the City of Virginia Beach, under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin or sex, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who, if requested, express in open meeting either orally or in writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meetings, party canvasses, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election districts.&lt;br /&gt;

Candidates for the election at said Mass Meeting shall file the 6th Senate District Convention Virginia Beach Filing Form in person, to Kenneth J.
