Thank you for your support of the Republican Party of Virginia Beach and its City Committee. Ours' is the Grand Ole Party of Lincoln and Reagan: of values and vision, of principles and progress. Here in Virginia Beach, our Republican ideals are just as strong today as they ever were. Our vision is just as relevant; we have a great record of accomplishment, and look forward to many successful years to come.
Let's work together, build together, and grow together, all for the common good of our Party, and every single member in it. Let's work harder to build a better, stronger and more effective party, work harder to stimulate, energize and invigorate the Party, making every member proud to be Virginia Beach Republicans. Let's work smarter to grow from grass-roots to stem roots to strong roots that are firmly embedded in the soil of Republican spirit and enthusiasm. More than this, let's display the energy we share as Republicans, meeting the challenges and goals that will guide us into the future.
Together we will recapture that spirit that makes our Republican Party great. We will renew our Republican mission to reach out to every voter and campaign with excitement and fun. Together we will make our Republican Party strong. As Chairman, I commit to working with you to achieve these important goals:
· Unify the Virginia Beach Republican Party · Hold an Open House with elected officials to encourage more people to join our Party · Re-organize the precinct operations · Utilize the Voter Vault tools provided to us by the RNC and RPV · Include more grass-roots Republicans in the party mechanism · Encourage even greater participation from the Republican Women's Federation · Expand our youth programs such as the Young Republicans, College Republicans and High School Republicans · Revamp and update our web site · Improve every aspect of Internet communication so that we will not be the party of stagnation, but the party of communication, on the move
I know that some of these ideas are not new, and have indeed been imbedded in past agenda from the effective and well-respected past chairmen and chairwomen. But some of these are the ideas that have worked in the past, and we will make them work again for the future of our Virginia Beach Republican Party. This is our party. Let's take it back- back to the future!
Together we will Lead the Party, and Grow the Party, and Move the Party- forward.
